Gillian Goodwin is a director, writer, and producer living and working in Atlanta. She wants to focus her filmmaking work on stories that depict and help the African Diaspora. Her filmmaking idols are Shonda Rimes, Steven Spielberg, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Ava DuVernay, Spike Lee, Antoine Fuqua, and Steven Zaillian. Gillian holds a BS in Communication and Media Studies from Kennesaw State University and an MFA in Filmmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
